A Sunday Afternoon

Recommended Posts

With the weather unseasonably warm, I decided to move the shop outside for the day. There has been virtually no snow all winter, and the grass is green. This is the kind of thing I grew up dreaming about, working ye olde forge in a scenic place, no pollution of industry or noise of the roads. An hammer in hand, I went at it until the tank ran dry, and my only regret is that I could not have been out longer. It was so warm I did not even need a sweatshirt!

Who could ask for more?

I'm really liking this mild winter as well. I'm in the thumb of michigan and it was close to 40 today, working next to the forge and swinging the hammer I definatly didn't need a coat today either :D

yea this is the mildest michigan winter ive ever seen. were probably getting hammerd hard with a blizzard in april but still.

You must be carrying your anvil back inside to keep it that shiney.

Yea, and not a bad workout  I have a better setup inside, but it was so nice, why not move out for a day or two? Gotta love the trees, eh?
