another commission done

In the first pic, where you can't see the tang, it looks like it belongs in the Sabaki class of Japanese chef knives. Most that I have seen aren't quite that wide, in length to width ratio, but the overall shape of the blade looks similar.

 

Looking at the bottom picture changes the perspective considerably. To my eye, it looks like an American hunting knife with Japanese influence.

I like that definition the best
