Phenomenal knife! Can we get a description? Materials, forge weld pattern, etc...

Since it's your first post, how about an introduction?

I hate to bring this up, but could you re-size the pic? Here's a little info on posting: http://www.bladesmithsforum.com/index.php?showtopic=3566

Welcome Pierre, what a beautiful piece, thank you for sharing. For those of you who are not familiar with his work Pierre Reverdy is one of the worlds best mosaic and Damascus maker. His pieces are bold and sculptural and true art knives. It is great to have you join us Pierre.

Pierre, Welcome!

It was inspiring to see your work at the Helsinki show and it is great to see you participating here. I would like to see much more of your work and especially hear about your creative process. It is evident you approach knives with an artist eye. It would be interesting to get an insight into your creative process.

welcome,

I love the pigs , I loves santa's knife and have found a lot of your work inspirational original and instantly recognisable.

strong lines and combined smooth and rough, I particularly like the curved carved lines in the blade.

All the best Owen
