Jake Powning
thanks Matthew, I ground the fuller in after hardening and tempering, but before the final temper, (which I do after I'm done polishing and etching) I used a low RPM and kept the blade cool and it worked well. David D.
Bloody gorgeous as usual Jake. Love the dynamic fullers, really bold and unique. I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend" J.R.R. Beau Erwin
That turned out great Jake. Rick is right, it does have a bit of a Maori feel to it. I think I'll have to show it to some friends that are part Maori. One is a wood carver too =] he'd love seeing it. Those fullers kill me. As is the hilt. And the overall package. Seems.... all is incredible. Can´t wait for the next piece, and the next, and the next.... You got me addicted to your work.
