Dan O'Connor
Wow! So very clean looking. The shape is very sexy. How would this be affixed to a shaft? I understand shaped to the socket but what would keep it on? Lukasz
Small rivet. Most of them had rivets or nails . There are also findings without any hole in the shaft and it is much more difficult to figure it out. I've tried to wrap it with fresh skin once and it worked good. After the skin dries everything was kept on place.
John Rigoni
I would love to see the progression of how you forge your spearheads, they are really beautiful. How long is the octagon taper for your drift and is it set vertically in the anvil or bent over like a bick?
Lukasz
John, I created tutorial about it last time, check it out. Horn is standing straight. I also found out that instead of horn you can use round steel bar forded into octagonal shape. It is a lot easier to forge opposite side of socket in the same time and keep it nice and symmetrical. I hope i wrote it with understanding Edited February 19, 2012 by Lukasz
