first thing from the forge in a long time. Forged from leaf spring, distal taper, hidden tang tapers too, copper and quilted maple.

blade length 3 1/4"

feels good to be making sharp pointy things again!

Beautiful knife, very clean.

It's not that I would trade my lot

Or any other man's,

Nor that I will be ashamed

Of my work torn hands-

For I have chosen the path I tread

Knowing it would be steep,

And I will take the joys thereof

And the consequences reap.

Thanks Ben, it's been a while since I've messed around with the forge. This knife is the 3rd blade that made it through the quench. Leaf spring steel is a tough one for me. I made this one for my Dad as a suprise. He seen it 3/4 finished and commemented how much he liked it. I wanted to tell him it was for him but i didn't tell him. Once I broke the news to him, he was happy as all get out.... Felt good to me doing this for my Dad.

More sharp stuff to come!

I hate to tease but I reworked a old bayonet to sometning cool. No pics yet for yall but soon I promise.
