I don't see why we can't have one due at the end of summer (sept 1st or something), Then another one due feb or march 2013. I think these KITH's are really exciting and good for everyone involved, the more the merrier I say.

I want to put my vote in for the eating set idea. An EDC doesn't seem like all that much of a challenge. Now a folder, that would be a challenge.

So, just for the record: the fact that it does work still should not be taken as definitive proof that you are not crazy.

sorry, i had to say that, i suggested a trade like this on another forum, and got nominated as the person in charge. I said that i was pretty new and i got that exact response about the hat. So i completely understand where your coming from.

Ok here it go's EDC set of historical nature, meaning a knife paired with something that would complement that knife in a functional manor. If everyone would like I would be glad to take Peters roll from the Last KITH and keep track of entries and field any questions. If this sounds good I say lets get started.

Kip

Historical, over one hundred years ago

Functional set, meaning knife with complementing tool such as meat fork or a skinning set or a eating set, keep it simple.

Time; april 1 official start date July 31 dead line.

If I can get my shop back up, I will make a mariners knife and Marlin spike for rope splicing on the old sailing ships.

I hope you get your shop back up I'd like to see that!!!
