Petr Florianek
Hello! I wanted to try bowie for some time and i decided to give it a go with full frontier gnarliness. I forged the blade from old leaf spring and the guard from old iron, then i filed in the decoration (mostly the acorn) and heavily etched it. The handle is oak, with brass and rawhide wrap. The sheath is inspired by John Cohea works - its brain tan over the heavy leather and some ornamentation let me know your thoughts GULLINBURSTI

Kevin Colwell
Petr - I love the acorn on the guard. I don't think I have ever seen that before. Really good knife. People from Texas and Arkansas are specially qualified by birth (and arrogance) to comment on the quality of bowie knives. Yours is an outstanding example. kc please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.” E. V. Mike Sheffield
Hotness. My life is like shaving with a razor sharp machete. It's a bit awkward and I feel a sting every now and then, but in the end I'm happy with the results.

Doug Lester
You nailed it! There are several elements in that knife that I generally don't like but you put them together in a package that really works. Doug HELP...I'm a twenty year old trapped in the body of an old man!!!
