I finished a knfe you might find interesting Its a seax with PW blade - wrought irn spine, two twisted bars and steel edge bolster is red deer antler and the handle is ash. I'm not exactly sure why - maybe because of genetic memory, or something - but this is somehow instantly recognizable and pleasing to the eye. Hard to explain.
