Mike Sheffield
Gents this is amazing! My life is like shaving with a razor sharp machete. It's a bit awkward and I feel a sting every now and then, but in the end I'm happy with the results.

charles wu
Hi Kevin, Sorry, i thought i miss the hardboard when i open the mail packages. So can i leave the blade collar to you? I will pack it and send them to you soon. Wu Hey Charles, I didn't see the blade collar? You don't have to braze it together, just make it to the pattern and leave it open. I will close it and fit it here. Maybe I missed it. This stuff looks outstanding. You have outdone yourself. The vegetation and stuff in the carving looks consistent with Philip Tom's descriptions of the ornamentation on Chinese sabers from the Met. You have done an amazing job. I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you. kc 9 Dragon metalworks - http://9dragonmetalworks.com--- The more traditional, the more modernPast Projects: www.etsy.com/shop/handmademetalworks
Kevin Colwell
Charles, ok. I will do the blade collar. kc please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. I said then and I say now, that while there is a lower class, I am in it; while there is a criminal element, I am of it; while there is a soul in prison, I am not free.” E. V. Kevin Colwell
Charles, I have even made myself about 10 or 12 chisels and punches. I need to finish polishing/sharpening the last batch. I have been practicing carving/engraving brass and some copper for a couple of weeks. My only problem is I can't get to my workshop for a few days. My marriage is in the process of dying, and home isn't where I am or where the heart is right now. Go ahead and send the stuff. I will be back in a couple of days. I will get there before your shipment can. I left people sitting with the house, anyway, who I can trust. kc please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. Albert A Rasch
Gents, I'm late on the thread, but obviously the final chapter hasn't been written! Beautiful work all; collaboration really allows for elements to be put together with synergy where the two together are greaer than each individually. I can't wait to see the culmination of this project! It would be worth having a professional photographer create a portfolio!
