just a kitchen knife

Recommended Posts

I love making these...

12 5/8" overall, w2/15n20 176 (I think) layer blade, olivewood, buffalo horn, bronze, brass pins, and a bit of red g10. The blade is about 1/16" thick, 8" long, and will be used daily in its new home.

Thanks guys, I'm really happy with the way this one came out. The damascus looks a bit washed out in the photos, but the etch is very deep and should hold up to years of use.

The thread title... I once was pulled over by a policeman with a 12" bladed bowie lying in the passenger seat that I had taken to show a customer. The policeman noticed it, looked it over, and asked me "what is this?"... my answer to that question is the title of this thread (he was not amused, but let me go with a warning)...

As one of my chef-teachers in culinary school said to me "Nothing is Just Just". Mr. Headly knew what he was talking about....

and this is more than just just!

Beautiful work Brother!
