Forge on Christmas

Recommended Posts

Light snow falling as the forge heats up.

I spent the afternoon working on a large billet of crushed W's that David Delagardelle will be using in a beautiful sword he's building.

Now drinking a double IPA called "Wreck the Halls," and spending time with my family. Can't think of a better way to spend a Christmas.

Hope all of your days were as good as mine.

Merry Christmas fellow smiths. Luck and skill in the new year!

Dave

Braved the cold and forged a bit today as well. I hadn't had a hammer in my hand for over two weeks and I was getting a bit restless  My brother got himself a digital camera from the jolly fat man this morning, so as soon as I get this laptop fixed I can start posting pics and maybe even a vidie or two :D

I love the smell of Anthracite in the morning! B)

Happy Holidays to all!

Ah, snow. I'm with George, stuck in Florida. Beautiful shot, looking forward to see what those billets turn into ;)
