I'm in northeastern NC wondering if anyone else is nearby.

The smith also sitteth by the anvil,

And fighteth with the heat of the furnace,

And noise of the hammer and the anvil is ever in his ears,

And his eyes look still upon the pattern of the thing that he maketh,

He setteth his mind to finish his work,

And waitethto polish it perfectly.

Bac to my shop in Northern Costa Rica.Just got back from the lecheria(milk cheese barn) where you can see Lake Nicaragua.

All the natives are back at work today or tomorrow so I'm gone fishing. The Marlin are slamming now.

Buddy of mine picked up a nice double last week. Two 350 lb'ers.Yup. Chaos on da boat !

I said that.

So, just for the record: the fact that it does work still should not be taken as definitive proof that you are not crazy.

Getting ready to drive from Renton, WA to new home near Austin, TX, but all my tools are in storage near Memphis TN. Hope to get a shop built and get all consolidated in one place in a couple months.

I'm still in Spain and back to knifemaking at last....

Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man's rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims

Wrong elevation. I'm at 2300 feet. It was 77 today and will chill down to 65-68 tonight. That's 365 with the occasional heat wave of 80-82 mid day, just shy of the green season (March-April).The lowlands here are like Texas. Sucky weather and HEAT....followed by dry brown windy dust bowl conditions.

Up on Irazu or Chirripo it can get down in the thirties every night (8 to 10,000 feet plus).

Lotsa diversity here.

I need to move to the country :P

Everything I need to know I learned from the people trapped in my basement.

I'm out of my mind but feel free to leave a message.

Southern New Mexico, in the foothills of the Gila wilderness. Not quite the middle of nowhere, but only about an hours drive from there...;)

Victoria BC ,

Canada

As far West as you can go in Canada on Vancouver Island.

The blacksmith and the artist reflect it in their art.

They forge their creativity, closer to the heart.
