Lookin' stylish, Stephen. B)/>/>

I currently roll in a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.7 Hemi, but here's some pics of past rides:

Tbird and Plymouth.jpg

That's my first and second cars, a 1964 Plymouth Belvedere 2-door sedan with 225 slant six (dad made me sell it because it had a solid steel dashboard and no seatbelts) behind the 1969 Ford Thunderbird. I loved that car! Black leather and stainless steel interior, 429 Thunderjet (aka Cobrajet, 375 hp @ 5mpg...) and ridiculously pimpin' style. :rolleyes:/> Sold the T-bird because nothing worked but the engine and brakes. It ate power window switches at $35 a pop, had a leak from the hydraulic windshield wiper motor on the passenger side and my girfriend objected to power steering fluid on her feet for some reason, and the climate control was fried so it only had full-blast heat. Got a little warm in summer when the windows wouldn't roll down. :(/> Pay no attention to my mom's 1984 Olds Cutlass or my brother's '58 Dodge in the background.

That was followed by a 1979 Jeep Wagoneer (not pictured) which died and was in turn followed by this lovely 1977 International Scout Traveller.

scout.jpg

Traded that for a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 (not pictured) that evetnually died of inhaling its own intake gasket at 13 years and 200,000 miles.

I have occasionally been seen in this, though:

Model T.jpg

That's dad's 1924 Model T Ford, restored to all-original configuration. Scariest thing I've ever driven. :ph34r:/>

PS Sam- glad to see you have a REAL vehicle now. ;)/>

Love that splitty! Mine is so rare in the states (probably not more than 100, less than 25 of those with factory 16" wheels) that people think it's a custom mod. I had one guy chase me for a mile to ask if I would sell it. He turned a funny color when I gave him a price  .

I like the model T.

I generally drive the sierra but just recently got the suzuki because the truck is taking too much of my paycheck to keep gas in it.

My commute vehicle is a Toyota 4Runner since I drive 60mi. a day. But I got this little sweety from my wife's uncle in a panic sale. For about what the sales tax would be for it.

2003 Ranger "Edge" 4 door extended cab, 4L V6, tow package,5th wheel hitch, LineX bed liner,5spd manual. The only mileage he had on it was a trip up to Fairbanks AK and back. I also built a 62 Gal reserve tank for it. (16 MPG:osrc="http://forums.dfoggknives.com/public/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif">)

I wanted the pink stripes off of it but my wife protested so they are still on.

This was my first car. My father was stationed in England and we all went to the factory in 1959 to pick it out. My youngest daughter (the passenger) did a full restoration on this 1959 Bugeye Sprite in 2002 as her Senior Project in High School. I gave it to here in 2007 as her college (masters) graduation present. The driver is my older sister who also learned to drive in this car.

Mike - that's one sweet ride!

OK - I'll give - here's what goes "RuMbLe" around our place. Bought this puppy six years ago. Call it midlife crisis. Only *new* car I'm every likely to own. Times were good and it seemed like it was "jump now or forget it"... well the years have gone by and when Danita (my sweetie) was scraping the barrel to start a toy store last Fall we put it in hock to the Credit Union. So now it not only gives us fun rides - it's spawned an awesome little kids' toy store!

I see some of you got real spiffy rides, folks! Mine is more "down to earth" so to say - Huyndai Galloper 4x4 (basically, a first gen. Mitsubishi Pajero) with somewhat diferent lights and cheaper looking (but still decently comfy) cabin.

Wow Keith, My third Camaro was a 72 Z 28, My first was a 67, with a 327. I put cuda high-back seats in it that would lay down flat! Then, I had a 69, 396. Had a carb fire, (common) and got dxed.

Later I had a great 68, with the 327 again. Best engine ever made.

My favorite car was a 76 Capri. Awesome car.

borrowed pic.

Then I drove Subaru,Honda, and now a little Chevy truck. But, it's all paid for by my company, so I can't complain.

I haven't had to buy car insurance for 20+ years. :D/>
