New to the forum, introduction

Recommended Posts

Hello all, good to be here. I am looking forward to learning a lot from all of you :)/>

I've been making knives for a little over a year now, but I don't make that many because of a busy school schedule. As you will see, I love kitchen knives and some modernism.

Here is my very first knife, forged from a Nicholson file.

My 4th, from the same material.

My 5th, the DTN gyuto prototype.

A small neck knife, called the Whittle Woe.

Some other gyuto.

My 9th knife, the latest one - a hybrid type of santoku/nakiri.

Thanks and sincerely,

-Don Nguyen

Incredibly inspiring work!

I am absolutely in love with your geometry/proportions work. Amazing how elegant yet sharp your work is.

nice job on polish/finish, and the handles are great. You are good at getting the planes and angles that you want and not losing them in intersection or changing cross-section.

look forward to seeing more work.
