Hi All


 

The real blokes over here in NZ go pig hunting with 2 or 3 dogs and a .................knife.

I made this for my pig hunter customer

 

Damascus approx 475 layer 1095 & 15N20

Handle NZ native Black Maire with brass guard and stainless and brass screw rivits

Total lenght 13.6 inch blade 8 inch

Wax impregnated leather sheath.

That should get the job done. Actually we have people who hunt feral hogs with dogs and knives in the States where in some localities are a major ecological, health, and safety hazard. That and trapping are about the only ways to remove them from suburban areas.

I'm with everyone else on this one, that bolster and guard are fantastic! I'd call it "Hogslayer", may the great bacon dance commence! B)

I really like the ferrule above the guard. The whole thing is good, of course. looks formidable but refined (what I think we wish we all were...).

Richard--Your pig sticker is a real winner in the high end using knife.

Sheath, blade steel and shape is good. Guard is good.

The whole package is great.
