ShawnShaffer
This in my latest knife project and i was wondering what category this might fall into. I know there is a placement with swords via the oakshot i believe might be wrong, but either way its a big knife thing. I also would appreciate any tips or some helpful criticism. Geoff Hardy
Recurve bowie I guess but the tip is more like an american tanto. So I guess you could call it an American recurve bowie/tanto hybrid ..thingy. The blacksmith and the artist reflect it in their art. They forge their creativity, closer to the heart.
ShawnShaffer
makes some sense its just it started out straight and curved a little and i didnt have a set plan for it i usual like to let a blade take its own shape. Kinda like how people grow you know. Start off as basic and slowly get more knowledgable and complicated as we go.
Raymond Jewell
I would agree... Recurve tanto “Fire and air, earth and water, were once considered the four elemental substances of our world. Raymond Jewell
Yeah, the gas forge is built, waiting for the burner. Thanks for showing us the blade. Btw, "Mr." is my dad's first name. Raymond will work just fine. “Fire and air, earth and water, were once considered the four elemental substances of our world. GEzell
A bokukto... (bowie/kukri/tanto crossbreed) George Ezell, bladesmith" How much useful knowledge is lost by the scattered forms in which it is ushered to the world! How many solitary students spend half their lives in making discoveries which had been perfected a century before their time, for want of a condensed exhibition of what is known."Buffonview some of my work RelicForge on facebook
