What type of knife would this be?

This in my latest knife project and i was wondering what category this might fall into. I know there is a placement with swords via the oakshot i believe might be wrong, but either way its a big knife thing. I also would appreciate any tips or some helpful criticism.

Recurve bowie I guess but the tip is more like an american tanto.

So I guess you could call it an American recurve bowie/tanto hybrid ..thingy.

The blacksmith and the artist reflect it in their art.

They forge their creativity, closer to the heart.

makes some sense its just it started out straight and curved a little and i didnt have a set plan for it i usual like to let a blade take its own shape. Kinda like how people grow you know. Start off as basic and slowly get more knowledgable and complicated as we go.

I would agree... Recurve tanto

Yeah, the gas forge is built, waiting for the burner. Thanks for showing us the blade. Btw, "Mr." is my dad's first name. ^_^ Raymond will work just fine.

A bokukto... (bowie/kukri/tanto crossbreed)
