MP could you tell me how long each finished bar was after twisting? And how long the outside bar was? i'm in the process of making the core right now. the bar is 44" long and 7/16" squared. i know there's not enough for 4 bars but i'm hoping to get 3 out it and just make the outside bar thicker. your video has helped me out alot. thanks for that. It was so long ago I honestly don't remember the lengths. I do know I patterned the bars at 1/2" and patterned 4 5' long bars for the core. I then ground the edges clean and cut around any questionable welds. I did three blades for this sword and picked the best for the finished piece.
