Post your events on the calendar

Please post your bladesmithing related events on the public calendar along with contact information. If we use it this will be a handy reference. Thanks

Don, I tried to post an Event on the Calendar, but it wouldnt let me. I am registered and I was logged in. Lin :mellow:

I know the settings on IVBOARD are many and sometimes rather hidden (have managed some forums...)

 

but here's the way to set the permissions for the clendar:

 

first go to the Admin panel...

 

then click on "Manage User Groups" (in the section "Users & Groups")

 

then click on "Edit Group" for the "Members" group (or whatever you call your main user group)

 

scroll down until you see the section called "Posting Permissions"

The last entry should be "Can add events to the calendar?"... set this to YES.

 

I have attached two screenshots,... however these are from version 1.X... so you run 2.x might be a bit different but should still be in the same section...
