Alan Longmire
SamCro has posted this link a few times, and it looks good. Pick your steel (no simple alloys here, though!) and get the basics on HT, keeping in mind things work a little differently in blade shape versus large parts. http://hudson-metals.com/pages/technical/technical.html
R. Yates
Thank you Alan, I was hoping that some one would Back me on the Important information I was trying to convey .while it does not have some of the traditional steels used by many smiths it does have the more uncommon and not used by many smiths . they are often attempted by many and thus resulting in many questions about how to deal with the steels listed . Bless you and Best Regards Sam Robert D. Yates , 13 & On Forge
