Hello All,

I will be doing a wootz making and forging demo at Tunnel Mill near Rochester, MN later this month.

Should be a good time over several days should you have the time.

I heard they have a 500 weight Little Giant on hand...I intend to see her eat...so there may be a large pattern-welding session some night as well if they let me.

Yours,

Ric

I saw that a while ago and really wish I could make it but I had already made plans to be a part of a bronze pour elsewhere. I hope you have fun. I have yet to see the large hammer run. I just can never seem to make the times they use it :(

Ric, I saw the announcement a few months ago in the Guild news letter. I will be out of town that weekend. Been bummed about it for a while now. Would love to be there for a number of reasons and now you bring up the possibility of a pattern-welding session and running John's Little Giant. Now I am really bummed.

Have a great weekend. I know it will be a fantastic event.

Talk to you soon.

Dan

Ric,

I just talked to Carol Adams today, and I'm officially signed up. I'm looking forward to meeting and learning from you.

Is there anything you'd suggest I bring other than my brain and a notebook, for what my brain can't hold?
