Richard Furrer
Hello All, I will be doing a wootz making and forging demo at Tunnel Mill near Rochester, MN later this month. http://tunnelmillcrafts.com/Calendar/Calendar.htm Should be a good time over several days should you have the time. I heard they have a 500 weight Little Giant on hand...I intend to see her eat...so there may be a large pattern-welding session some night as well if they let me. Stephen Olivo
I saw that a while ago and really wish I could make it but I had already made plans to be a part of a bronze pour elsewhere. I hope you have fun. I have yet to see the large hammer run. I just can never seem to make the times they use it "Remember to live life to the fullest and without regret for the joy of life is that it ends." Dan Kaschner
Ric, I saw the announcement a few months ago in the Guild news letter. I will be out of town that weekend. Been bummed about it for a while now. Would love to be there for a number of reasons and now you bring up the possibility of a pattern-welding session and running John's Little Giant. Now I am really bummed. Have a great weekend. I know it will be a fantastic event. Talk to you soon. Dan
Dion
Ric, I just talked to Carol Adams today, and I'm officially signed up. I'm looking forward to meeting and learning from you. Is there anything you'd suggest I bring other than my brain and a notebook, for what my brain can't hold? Dion Dion Grethen D. Alan Longmire
Bring a spare brain or two, you'll need them to keep up with Ric.
