I forged this from 1095 high carbon steel and clay coated with a water quench . The edge s 5 1/2'' long and the handle is 4" .I made the handle out of dyed deer antler and the ferrule is copper and sterling silver.feaster.jpg

I really like the simplicity. The collar is a focal point, with something else interesting on either side, yet it is not overwhelming at all. More pics of the hamon would be great! :D

I appreciate all the positive remarks greatly, and I think from now on I will be making mare complete knives since i get to use all of my metal working skills .
