just finished these up ordered for Christmas presents, using antler he provided and steel from harrow points from his family's farm. I have one more of the harrow points and I really like this steel just feels good. oak bolster.












The smith also sitteth by the anvil,

And fighteth with the heat of the furnace,

And noise of the hammer and the anvil is ever in his ears,

And his eyes look still upon the pattern of the thing that he maketh,

He setteth his mind to finish his work,

And waitethto polish it perfectly.

Heh heh, I'm doing something similar. A guy gave me a circular saw blade from a mill and a set of antlers to make him a couple of knives. I'm doing the same thing with the handles except I'm using walnut. Planning on posting when they are done.


Those are really good looking knives. The sheaths look great too! what are some dimensions?
