Zirlcote Fighter

My latest;

 

Blade is 7 1/2" random pattern damascus.

Handle is stabilized Zirlcote 5 1/2" with copper fittings, Oal 12 1/2".

All comments welcome and thanks for looking!!

I saw this on Facebook. I heart this knife so much Kip. I love the texturing of the copper and figure in the wood.

Thanks Wes I loved it too until I saw all the scratches in the fourth picture!! Maybe a little more work and I can call it done. Thanks much for your reply!!

Kip! That is a stunning piece of work... The handle and bolster just blow me away! Really cool knife man! :)

Eddie; The process is easier than it looks. :blink: Until you get to the union from the bolsters to the hidden tang. Thanks again for your comments!!

I love how I can't match it with any culture, not at least one I know.

Phil the bolsters go on like any other full tang knife, if you look real close you can see my forward pine. :( and then you proceed like any hidden tang knife. Thanks again!!!
