I've been working on this one for over a year now. Forged and finished from 1084 with Ironwood and Ivory Paper Micarta.

I don't think I'll make something again like this for a long time; for me, it was a pretty challenging piece :)

Beautiful! Forging and grinding a blade of that size is challenging enough... add to that the thinness, and, well, that wasn't easy was it... :)

Holy Hell Don! That thing is long! Beautiful and clean though. I bet keeping that thing straight gave you fits.

Don, I laughed when I saw the title of your post...'Cause I love your chef's knives! You have a unique style, and this is quite something! You are a braver man than I, to atempt something this awsome! ( Just wish I could hold it!!! )
