Deep etch San Mai Fighter

This is one I just finished up!!

 

Blade is 1095 center two layers of 15n20 on the sides, 1/4" thick blade, length 7 1/4"

Handle is stabilized maple with 3/16" copper pins, Oal 12''

 

I used it to prune a few trees around the yard and she's a chopper!!! Thanks for looking

That's nice looking. It has an almost oceanic look to it.

Thanks Matt! I etched it over a period of time with a lather dye swab. Mostly the spine and exposed 1095 on the cutting edge. Fun with acid!!! Thanks again!!

I always viewed the phrase, "fun with acid," to mean something entirely different. Still, I really like this knife, and the others that I saw recently of yours. Serious craftsmanship.
