maple scandi

Hi guys! This is the new knife out of my workshop.
The blade is three layers sanmai with O2 tool steel core and Gr.1045 at the sides. The handle is made of stabilized maple burl and patinated copper. Scandinavian style sheath with wooden insert inside. Length overall 21cm (8,27 inch), Length of the blade is 10 cm (3,9 inch).

Wow! Knife and sheath are fantastic. It all blends together nicely and that's a really nice use of copper. Bravo!

Gorgeous knife and sheath, in my favorite style as well, I think this is one of the most striking scandi flacoured knives I have seen in a long time.

The blend of the copper to the wood looks great.

I hold it in hand yesterday... this is jewel and seriously art, but for real using! Your work with shapes and surfaces is unique. I love this piece... však víš ;)
