This will be my first year there, and I'm looking forward to it :) Justin, we'll have to look around for a good Mexican restaurant that will allow 8th century Sax to be carried in :) ,,,,

There was some talk at Scott's this year about a bunch of people trying to making it out to 2015... I know I'm saving pennies for that one B)

Zeb - no restaurants. There just aren't any. It is in the middle of a wilderness area near a beautiful lake. The food is good, and part of the registration fee. I am looking forward to meeting you, and seeing everyone.

It is always great. I learn more in a couple of days than I do in the 6 months prior, and see some great folks.

The food is good at ashokan, but I do recommend bringing disposable earplugs to sleep in the bunk house ! Zeb is referring to Fire and Brimstone this year when we all piled in people's cars to head out to a restaurant for supper, I was still carrying around my 2 foot long Merovingian broad seax, and as my car was on the other side of hte railroad tracks quite a hike away, so I just took it to supper with me as we piled into a mexican restaurant. =)

Justin is right. If you sleep light, get a room or pitch a tent. ;)

I always get a room. Just sort of a must. Or sleep in your car. Or truck. The bunkhouse is not a viable option for a lot of us.

Sorry to say I won't be able to make it out this year. A lot of stuff going on in September for me, but I'll definitely be trying for 2015!
