Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I last posted. The reason for that is that I am a person with many interests and hobbies. Some of you may remember some of my blade design sketches I posted on the forum over the past two years. I got a lot of positive comments on my drawing skills, which I am very thankful of! Therefore I wanted to show you one of my other endeavors; I make hyperrealistic (beyond the realism of a photo) drawings with pencil on paper. It's something very different from blade smithing, but it does take the same amount of patience and obsession with details.

On my Facebook page you can see my works:

And for those that don't have Facebook, this is my personal site:

I have an equal love for blades as i do for drawing, but I focus more on drawing because it forms my only income. It kind of explains my frequent absence from the forum. But what's better than making a living out of your passion?

I do have a new blade project coming up though. I will be doing the handles and sheath for two brother seaxes in collaboration with Karter Schuster who will be crafting the blades.

Good luck with all of your own projects!

Jasper, your work is impressive. The last girl looks like my cousin when she was younger. I can understand why Karter would consider working with you. I am sure you will make a great team.

That is really amazing, I like to draw a lot, I'm not very good at it, but I like to think that I'll get good at it if I practice enough though. Your work is really awesome though, I'm sure you put tons of time into it judging by the mind blowing (not that it's hard to blow my mind) amount of detail. Very inspiring.
