Broken Back Long Seax

Recommended Posts

Last month I participated as a demonstrator at the Dragon's Breath Forge Hammer In. There I put together and forged a multi billet seax ; My first blade of this kind.

Am I yet deserving of "the fiery beard"? !7" blade length !084, 15N20 steels

There most certainly is!! It's pretty strong too. I've chosen to bling it down, rather than feature it high. the final finish I'll use will let it out just a bit more. Sharp Eyes!!

JD, though not being a fiery beard myself, I feel you have a status similar to that of JPH, you only need hold a match (or forge ember as you so choose ;) ) to your whiskers as you are indeed the level of craftsman that is inherently burning. Oh and we definitely need a shot of you with a pipe :D
