I'd love to make it there... Unfortunately travel is a bit of a reach for me beyond a day trip. My mum's got several medical appointments through a week that I'm responsible to make sure she arrives to.

There's an open invitation to come visit me and see it, collaborate in my shop, or just kick back and relax with a brew.

Beyond that, if my circumstances change or a miracle happens, I'll gladly come to this!

I did not realize this event was less than 30 miles away. I'll endeavor to make myself available! This would be something amazing to be able to get to, and I have much more than this guy here to show off.

I was wondering if there were any new insights? The posted photos from Fire & Brimstone look like it was a great gathering.

It was indeed! Unfortunately I came across a ligament injury due to some stairs, a heavy object, and my tiredness at the hotel I was at, so I didn't get to experience the last day.

I was given some well observed thoughts that it had unusual geometry, and it was likely a quickly made WWII blade.

Wow, I must have missed this John.
just looking at the pics. I would say that this sword is very unlikely made in WW2.

I wish I had seen it close up at F & B. Did Jesus see it, or Jeff??

I have seen a lot of Japanese swords. This one looks real enough, and old.

I think both got a gander at it, I'm not too sure... It was all very exciting and seeing as I haven't left my property in about two years it's safe to say I'm not terribly used to large gatherings of people, so many faces and names have blurred together.
