B. Norris
Oh my! I had no idea... Thanks for posting this. It figures. I am buying a house and have absolutely no scratch to spare at the moment. In case you do not know, Mr. Strasil is a 5th generation blacksmith. There will be many items at this auction of especial interest to the blacksmithing community. He is responsible for many of the tutorials at online blacksmithing forums and is a regular contributor to the online community. This is very much a once in a lifetime opportunity. ~Bruce~ “All work is empty save when there is love, for work is love made visible.” Kahlil Gibran "It is easier to fight for one's principles than to live up to them." - Alfred Adler
J.Thompson
Bruce First of all Congrats on the house!! Second, I bought an anvil from Mr. Strasil about five years ago. When I drove down to pick it up the building it was in had a pathway in it, just wide enough to walk through. Everything else was floor to ceiling tools stacked on top of each other. This will be a nice auction. John
Sam Salvati
I spoke on facebook with his son in law, Jr is not dead haha. I feared seeing the auction he had passed away, but he's still alive and kickin but sadly not able to use his tools much anymore. Let not the swords of good and free men be reforged into plowshares, but may they rest in a place of honor; ready, well oiled and God willing unused. For if the price of peace becomes licking the boots of tyrants, then "To Arms!" I say, and may the fortunes of war smile upon patriots
