Hey!

I made this one for competition at Knifest (some wood, rope, ball, can, etc.. chopping), I use that oportunity to try different type of bauernwehr/hunting knife than last time.

If this one survive all competition I want to made small knife, fork and sheath.

Blade I forged from old wagon leaf spring, at handle I use walnut wood. Fittings and rivets are from brass sheet.

I can't get over the aesthetic you cultivate with your work, very ancient and functional at the same time, I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of that! How is the decoration on the blade done?

Excuse my late answer (I guess that everything about this knife take looong time). Decorations are soldered in fire before hardening.

would love a set of knives and forks like that around the dinner table. Really cool stuff.
