Kevin Colwell 143
Hello Everyone, I had to take a break from all of the hiking/camping knives. This one is pretty nice. I did get some of the oxides from the etch on the wood, but that is the only little mistake (ok, that I want to discuss). The wood is very pretty. The blade is 60-ish layers of W2 and 15N20. The blade is inset into the guard. The guard and pommel are 1075 and 15N20. I like this little one a lot. Hope you like it.
Austin_Lyles 147
Holy smokes, that pattern is beautiful Kevin! For some reason it looks much more then 60 layers, must be because of the tight twist? I like it!
James Helm 119
That's a pretty sweet little knife!
GEzell 136
Well done man, I love everything about that one... I agree with Austin, I suspect you may have lost count on your folds, that pattern is tight (I've done it, I hope we've all done it). Edited June 22, 2015 by GEzell
Tim Tracey 29
That's very nice! A very tight pattern that looks like a lot more than 60 layers. You got me wondering now, I've got a block of stabilized purple heart sitting around myself. Maybe it's time to plan a blade. Very nice work, a nice break from the mundane!
