Whoa those are awesome! What's the blade like on Njord's Might? It looks like a hamon? or maybe some really interesting san mai?

 

Anyway, cool work, they look like great choppers!

They look great. I too am curious about the one with the dark handle, is it pattern welded or something like a mustard etch? I'm not really a huge fan of saxes but I like all of those a lot, the maple leaf carving is a great touch.

My dream is to take the saxe / sax to the next level..

Nice blades! What's the tip profile look like?

By the way, I'm not sure if it's possible to take the sax or seax to the next level. Because if you change things, then it isn't really a seax/sax, right? Anyway, I think that's what a bowie knife was intended to be, a modified seax...

I think the original seaxs were the, "next level." But, I have only made about 8 of these, total.
