Geoff Keyes
I've been working hard, but as usual, finishing stuff is the hard part for me. On that note, here are the pieces that have been getting most of my time over the last couple of weeks First up, a nice little hunter OL 9 3/4" BL 5 1/4 to the guard NS guard, Rosewood and stabilized Holly spacers old Indian Sambar Stag handle Sculpted Damascus butt cap 1084/15n20 "W"'s blade Second, a gents Bowie. This is one that I've been doing a WIP on, the last pics of that will get posted next to close that out. OL 11" BL 6 1/4" NS guard NS and carved mild steel spacers old Indian Sambar Stag handle Sculpted Damascus butt cap with stainless button 1084/15n20 "W"'s blade These were the 2 halves of a billet of "W"'s that gave me all kinds of grief. I thought I was going to lose the whole thing, but managed to pull it back from the brink. Thanks for looking Geoff Edited July 31, 2015 by Geoff Keyes "The worst day smithing is better than the best day working for someone else." I said that. Tim Tracey
Those pommels are really spectacular, the one on that 1st hunter almost looks like it was "spun" in order to make that pattern. That's some nice work.
Gary LT
I am liking the second on the series for the overall silhouette/design. Both are good! "I Never Met A Knife I Didn't Like", (Will Rogers)

Brian Dougherty
Wonderful stuff Geoff. I admire how you make the style so deep and consistent from tip to pommel. -Brian

GEzell
Excellent work sir! George Ezell, bladesmith" How much useful knowledge is lost by the scattered forms in which it is ushered to the world!
