Recommended Posts

just assembled this bodkin , "lemon style" blade 1/4 inch square by 4 1/4 long tapering to the point.

material is O1 , oil hardned and tempered to a peacock blue, guard is a "bearing" bronze, handle is old teak

blade is mounted to give a dimond apperence, wicked sharp too

havent got leather yet so I guess its a WIP

PS: sorry for the crappy pics

now that is a lot better and i can really see the beautiful work and details on it!beautiful piece of work!i love daggers and that is awesome.

you don't need a better set up for your pictures you only need to know how to picture your blades.take pictures outside in natural light but in the shade without flash on your camera and you will see a big difference.

Mike, I do believe that is my favorite thing I have seen of yours. That looks solid. The fit and finish, as seen in the new pics, appears good, too. nice one.

good job on the complete package. Leatherwork is the part of this craft I have avoided (that and sort of also carving).

I have had to start doing those, too.

you made a great knife here. glad the customer liked it.
