Alan!

I am honored!

Don't be. I keep telling people I am a competent maker at best, and since I do far more hawks and axes than knives I can promise my entry will be far from the best in terms of almost everything. ;) The concept was just too nifty to pass up, especially since I have a little time to play with personal projects at the moment.

Nope... can't take that away! Still honored! :P

It's just nice to have ideas that people dig, and appreciate... When ever I run good ideas by my wife I usually get the  eyes rolling!

When is the deadline?

For sign up?

end of the month?

Frankly I see no reason to cut it off. If anyone thinks they can get it done by the June 31 deadline, by all means let them sign up on June 31st!

This was just too cool to pass up!

Alan, you just want to get the wife out of doing the drawing again this year ;)

Gabriel, I believe the idea is to try your best, and that knowing you will ultimately send your work to another maker causes you to amp up your game a bit. There will be another list created in July of people who are actually done. Give it your best, and if you don't like what you turn out, you can quietly bow out.

Hello everyone , this is my first post here , but I stalk the forum for year and a half :D . I really want to join the KITH . It looks like a lot of fun and I hope I’m not too late. If my finished knife is not up to standard , just don’t put me in the hat :)

Is it too late to sign up for KITH? It seemed like there was a deadline for making the knife, but I couldn't find one for signing up.

If so, I would love to participate this year

Yeah....

it seems like a deadline for sign up is overkill.

We are all adults here, we all know our own ability.

Ok, cool. I looked at the knife and "stipulations" for this year and it seemed too fun to resist.
