Amazing!! It must be at least a meter long! hehe

Seriously cool piece though, I love the construction, pattern weld, symmetry, it's all great.

We seem to be entering a new era of oversized ritual weaponry, and I like it!

I like it too, hard on the body though....17 or 18lb of steel instead of the usual 2 in a sword.......

I think the pictures only prove that some smiths truly are dwarves.

But seriously, this thing is not only impressive in size but also in construction, great work!

I really love the top photo, Owen. You need to be a character in a Neil Gaiman book or something. You've clearly forged a magical weapon, and you're maybe the only person besides Poseidon who can wield it. Maybe he's got a cold, and so you have to go save the world, or at least a chick chained to a rock by the ocean.

What's not to like? Owen this is spectacular! I watched the Arctic Fire videos, and a gnome you are not!

But then again, Pieter may be right about that Dwarf business. In the Tolkien sense of Dwarf that is..... ;)

“So I'm lightin' out for the territory, ahead of the scared and the weak and the mean spirited, because Aunt Sally is fixin’ to adopt me and civilize me, and I can't stand it. I've been there before.”

The only bad experience is the one from which you learn nothing.
