Of all the power hammers I've seen being used the aesthetics of yours looks nice. I like the big C frame look.

Anyway, I eagerly await the next video. And in doing so have watched all the serpent in the sword videos but can't seem to find the engraving/finishing one on YouTube, I presume you made one?.

Thanks for all of the work on the videos. My son and I like them a lot. You are doing some cool experiments/work. The outcome is seriously-impressive, too.

This has been an unbelievably fantastic set of videos. Thanks again.

Thank you Niels. The recalescence at 3:15 is simply breathtaking. I find myself both looking forward to the last video and wishing it wouldn't end :). If you don't mind, could you please share your post etching cleaning procedure? Thanks again.

Here is the last episode. My etching and polishing is pretty standard. I'll write it up later.

Addendum (years later): I posted a complete step-by-step video on reconstructing this pattern-welded wolf tooth spear.

It's pretty straight forward. Remove the oxides with mother's metal polish. Mix iron oxide with oil and apply with steel wool. Clean with windex and soap. Done.

I would not mind hearing about how other people treat their steel though :-)
