Sorry it isn't sharp but Alan told me there would be people here who would like to see this anyway. A fellow asked for this and when I told him I'm a blacksmith not a jeweler, he said go ahead. I think we were both pleased!

Alan was right, we like it. Also, making jewelry and doing a good job like this makes you kind of a jeweler, so congratulations! :D

Very nice, What steel did you use to get the high contrast?

 

I really like things like this as it is using the same skills to make something different.

Hi G,

It's just normal 15N20 and 1080 hardened and tempered. Out of the etch into near boiling water, finish drying with a heat gun then apply Renaissance Wax.
