Thanks Alan, it will be used for general purpose from chopping to some splitting for fire wood for my camp ovens.

Thanks Jutte, the head weighs 1.2 kg

That is very nice.

I was buying some saw parts the other day and I was checking out a medium one-or-two handed Stihl axe.

I like yours a lot better.

Now there is an ax any man would be proud to own. Two thumbs up!!

C Craft Customs ~~~ With every custom knife I build I try to accomplish three things. I want that knife to look so good you just have to pick it up, feel so good in your hand you can't wait to try it, and once you use it, you never want to put it down ! If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner! ~~~ C Craft

Well thanks heaps fellas for your feedback, much appreciated and Tim....don't be discouraged as I have buggered up my fair share too but keep at it and it makes it all the more worthwhile when things come together.

That being all said, I would love a power hammer.

Excellent! I am not much of an axe maker (not at all, actually). But I respect what you have done, it looks great. Nice work.
