I'd say it's smoky too! The lines of the blade flowing into the waisted handle are beautifully proportioned, and the pattern is right on! I'm usually a fan of low layer twists, but this looks so good I may be persuaded to give higher layer counts a shot! This is one that I would love to be able to hold and go warring with :D

 

I'd love to see a tooled sheath for this one too! Killer work brother :)

Amazing work! This may be one of my favorite seaxes I've ever seen.

 

The higher layer twists are awesome, may I ask how many layers they are?
