Good Samhain to all!

Recommended Posts

So, today I got ready for that most dangerous of nights......Samhain!

(aka: All-Hallows Eve or Halloween)

I'm probably the only guy who uses power tools to carve a pumpkin into a Jack-O-Lantern!

(Truth be told, I only used a cordless drill for the eye holes, but hey, it makes a good story starter)

I wonder what Jake Powning's Jack-o-Lantern looks like?

Now THAT is a question for the ages!

Happy Halloween to all of my Bladesmith brethren!

With a heavy Maori influence - I also found a drill to be quite useful!

Oh, and I didn't think of this when I first posted, but the wife leaned over and grabbed the drill quite a few times. She was going for the masquerade ball look... We have 4 kids so we have made a lot of pumpkins, this was the first year they pretty much all made their own.

As the holiday rapidly approaches once again, I invite you all to post your Samhain jack-o-lanterns up here.

I just bought a mammoth pumpkin for $5 at the Safeway grocery store.......now I need some ideas.
