It's my first post on this forum so I wanted to say hello and show you my pattern welded seax which I finished few days ago.

Total length 47cm, blade 32cm

Width 3,2 cm

I love it! One thing that confuses me is how the butt cap is attached. are they just nails? Or is the tang somehow attached to it? Also, welcome to the forum!
