Matt Gregory
Great event! I failed miserably with my camera this year... The only salvageable shot just happened to be of my bud Justin, who NAILED both of his presentations: 1 Matt Gregory NABS Member NoAssBlacksmithsSociety

Kevin Colwell
Justin - for your first presentation of this sort - it was an AWESOME job. I learned a great deal, and I thought that I had followed both he and Niels Provos as they separately journeyed to making the Wolf's Tooth. This was educational, entertaining, and well done. please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. Kevin Colwell
Jim Kelso did a some outstanding presenting, and had some of his work there. The pieces evoked the same peace and calm in person. Jim - I sat next to you and the woman whom I assume to be your significant other (I loved the nickname you had for her but I can't remember it I didn't want to be a bother, and I now regret that I didn't say hello. I also admired your style while some of the audience decided they wanted to ask, and then answer their own questions. Smooth. please visit my website http://www.professorsforge.com/ “Years ago I recognized my kinship with all living things, and I made up my mind that I was not one bit better than the meanest on the earth. Jim Kelso
Kevin! Bother! Stop it! There were so many recognizable faces that I couldn't put names to. We'll catch up somewhere. I had a more stressful event than I had hoped for. Saturday was intense making sure everything was ready for my talks. I did see Justin's talk as well as Kevin's and Sam's demo. Justin made so much clear about that particular process and the way toward deducing how stuff is done in general. Kevin was right-on which reinforces the Ashokan "No toadies" standard. Sam in action, on the anvil and otherwise, was peerless. (Jean said he was sweet!) Sunday I got wicked sick, had to leave Tim Wright's talk and was sick into the night. Sadly I missed the open display and the opportunity to visit with everyone. Bummer! The Ashokan folks were awesome as always and let us stay Sunday night and we stumbled home Monday.
