Truth in advertising

Recommended Posts

In and around my neighborhood, not a weekend goes by without a dozen signs that read "Yard sale" "Huge Sale" Garage Sale" "Moving Sale" or some such jargon.

It is refreshing to see someone that is honest about what they are selling.

That is refreshing!  In my local paper there's someone who periodically posts an ad that reads " truck load of stuff.  $25."  I've never been brave enough to ask what it is.

You know, I would be more inclined to stop at a sign that said "junk sale" over "garage sale" any day.  Not sure what that says about me...
