January harvest

Recommended Posts

I went out to the garden today thinking "I really need to start taking this down and composting the dead plants" Well, guess what I found? A zucchini, a few small sweet peppers, some oddly shaped carrots (I had forgotten about them), a bunch of hot peppers, and a handful of green beans.

Ooh, split those sweet peppers in half, and then stuff'em and bake'em!

1 block of Philly Cream Cheese

1 roll of Jimmy Dean Sausage

1 cup of shredded parmesan

Brown sausage, then drain. Thoroughly mix with the cheeses, then stuff the peppers. Bake for 20 minutes @ 325 degrees. :)

P.S.---Works great with jalapenos, so try it with your hot peppers too!

what do you live in a nuke zone?

:)  The carrots remind me of the Gilligan's Island eposide where the crate of "Radio-active seeds" washed up on shore and the grew those wonky 3-pronged carrots.

I'm jelous though, all you will find in my garden this month is frozen compost...
