Blackwood San-Mai Hunter

I finished this one recently for a friend.  5" long blade approx 3/16 thick, san-mai with 80CRV2 core,  African blackwood handle, stainless guard and pin. Thanks for looking,  Clint

Thanks Gents, appreciate the positive feedback.  It is a pretty comfy handle and I really like Blackwood over most any other hardwood.  Recently finished one with ironwood and had forgotten how horrible it stinks when ground! Have yet to have a Blackwood handle crack on me but have experienced that with ebony several times.  Clint

That knife looks like it has a great balance and grip.  Great job.  I like African Blackwood too but the dust from sanding it can sure stain your clothes.
