Joël Mercier
Just received 2 cans of the stuff from Brownell's. Costed me over 75$ CAD with shipping. Opened the box and read the note. It has a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year. There's no way I'm going to use it all under one year. Just thought I'd post this here to prevent this from happening to others. Vern Wimmer
Don't panic over that. It doesn't automatically self destruct . Granted two cans is a lot of ATP but if you keep one sealed it might need mixing when you get around to finishing the other one and opening it but that is about it. I'd bet that if you keep it sealed and shake it up and turn the can over once in a while it will be fine. I have never heard of anyone actually having an unrecoverable problem. I think I recall one person having a problem with it being too thin from the factory but I suspect it was a can that just seperated over time and could have been re mixed. Joël Mercier
It takes a lot more than that to make me panic. Seriously, had I known, i just wouldn't have ordered 2 cans.
Vern Wimmer
Well I don't think the majority of us could use a whole can in a year (unless we made a lot of swords). When you get used to it and make it a part of your regular routine you will love it. Given what it saves in time and belt/file wear you are still well ahead for a long time.
